"I think… I’m not gonna reveal too much. I think she really made some really clear symbolic moves. I mean at the end of season 1 she just, you know, travels and goes on Cosima’s side. And I think for me that’s a true act of love and it’s a true act of solidarity and what not. And I think also in terms of season two you guys just saw, that she is at a huge DYAD party kissing her girl. For me this is pretty affirmative and I think that’s kinda cool of her. She is not making a huge parade out of it. She is just like, it is what it is.” - Evelyne Brochu [x]

If you ever feel like you’ve screwed up, just remember that in 1348 the Scots thought it would be a good idea to invade England because the English were weakened by the Plague. They subsequently caught the plague themselves, went back to Scotland, and killed half their own population.

You can tell a girl she’s smart her whole life, encourage her in school, buy her a chemistry set, send her to math camp, help her apply for college scholarships in STEM fields, and she’s still eventually going to walk into a classroom, a lab, or a job interview and have some man dismiss her existence, deny her funding, pass her over for a promotion, or take credit for her work. How about you work on getting those assholes out of power and quit telling me not to call girls pretty.
